In 2017, Social Media Thunder were approached to develop and implement a social media strategy that would drive consumers, exhibitors and press to attend the World Travel Market signature event.
Through consultative dialogue with the client the strategy was agreed and signed off. By using a high tempo testing technique the most effective adverts for target demographics were refined over 4 weeks and then and then used in a native and retargeting campaign. The outcome was a record number of 51,000 attendees walked through the doors of this prestigious event in its 37 year history.
