Attack The Block was a favourite of SXSW at the infamous midnight screenings but it was struggling to reach a wider audience. Social Media Thunder were asked to develop and implement a social media campaign that would focus on the core fan base and allow them to become ambassadors of the film.
The influencer strategy was focused on Facebook due to recognising early traction and conversations that were trending. Added to this we developed lines of conversation on Reddit and other similar sites to drive traffic and stay front of mind as a film that was both an instant cult classic and a box office success.
